The cigar opens with warm spice and aromatic tobacco, immediately setting a composed, inviting tone. As it develops, cedar and baking spice become more prominent, supported by earthy undertones from the Condega and Estelí fillers. Midway through, the profile gains cohesion, with subtle cream smoothing the spice rather than muting it. The final third remains structured and balanced, finishing warm, fragrant, and satisfying without fatigue.
Thai Tea 2026 belongs in Privada because it represents intentional blending and restraint. It is a cigar built around concept and execution rather than excess. LCA Privada Cigar Club – Cavalier Geneve Paca April Release 2026
This one showed up again with proof. Years after the original run we located asealed allocation that sat quiet in factory cellars and confirmed three full years ofage. The strip of paca fabric isn’t decoration — it’s literal provenance. These leavesslept on the very burlap that carried them, and the fabric carries that history acrossthe band. We worked with Cavalier Geneve and the factory to bring them back asthey were made: Plasencia tobacco at the center, Honduran craft, and that gold-foildiamond that always makes collectors pause.

This one is textbook Fernandez craft with a wink. We let it rest two years to calm thepunch and let the sweetness bloom. When I smoke Year Of Ed it reads like a box ofchocolates you forgot you had: immediate, honest cocoa, then a parade of nuts andcaramel. It’s plush in the middle and sharp enough at the finish to make theconversation last. This is what aged Nicaraguan tobacco is supposed to taste like.
