LCA Coco Berry is a full-bodied Nicaraguan puro rolled in a 6 x 52 Toro format and aged for one year. Made by Lanuza Family Cigars, it features an experimental Rosé Corojo sun-grown wrapper developed by Raul Lanuza—tobacco that receives full Nicaraguan sun while getting slight shade from the upper leaves of the plant, creating a distinctive leaf with an unusually sweet character. The binder and fillers are also Nicaraguan Corojo from the same seed strain, sourced from Jalapa, Estelí, and Condega. Every leaf in this blend comes from different parts of the plant and different growing regions, unified by a single Corojo lineage.

Coco Berry October 2026 LCA
Coco Berry was created to showcase flavors you don’t normally associate with a traditional cigar. The Rosé wrapper brings an unusual combination of fruit, candy-like sweetness, and sugar, while the deeper Nicaraguan tobaccos provide the richness and body to balance that sweetness. Before lighting, the wrapper gives off an aroma reminiscent of freeze-dried blueberry. The foot offers sweet cereal grains, and the cold draw introduces marshmallow cream and berry candy. The smoking profile develops into a rich combination of dark chocolate, espresso, red pepper, and sweet molasses—deep and dark without losing the underlying sweetness that makes Coco Berry unique. It’s a study in contrast: full-bodied Nicaraguan strength paired with a fruit-forward, almost confectionary sweetness that runs through the entire experience.
