The Gamble: Raul Lanuza planted Cameroon seed in Estelí and pushed it further than most would even attempt, coaxing a dark, almost black wrapper out of soil that typically would not produce it.
The Leaf: Anyone familiar with Lanuza’s signature Cameroon Negro already knows what to expect. It still carries the unmistakable character of Cameroon, but with a depth, richness and attitude that feels entirely its own.
The Roll: Box-pressed with a pigtail foot, leaning into tradition and rebellion at the same time. The size is classic. The leaf is anything but.
Why We Made It: It carries Raul’s signature edge while honoring one of Brian’s favorite styles, taking something familiar and pushing it into unfamiliar territory.
The Point: A custom smoke built around a leaf that probably should not exist in the first place, for those who understand what can happen when a blender is willing to bet everything on the tobacco.
